This week (at least on Monday)

Hey everyone! So what's going on this week is I'm really pushing everyone to go see Colin Meloy this Thursday @ 8PM in the HUB Auditorium. Tickets are $19.5, and it sounds steep, but c'mon- the lead singer and song writer from the Decemberists is doing a solo show for just UW. That's pretty darn good! I know I'm going, hardcore!

Also, look for a post coming very soon explaining the Husky Tee Project I'm working on.

But for now, I want to give a good head's up on this week: I have a huge final that is ultimately the determinant of my grade for the quarter, so this week's posted office hours are going to be kind of up in the air. Generally I am in the office every weekday from about 9am-12:30pm but there is going to be a good amount of late night's and visits to office hours for professors, so if you need to set something up, let me know and we'll check it out. I'll be making up my office hours this Friday after the final is over, so that would also be a good time to come chat.

Thanks for understanding and go check out COLIN MELOY, DEC. 4th @ HUB AUDITORIUM- $19.5 w/ Student ID.

OH! And if you are a business student looking at some internship opportunities, the University of Washington Alumni Association is looking for interns. The term is for both winter and spring quarters and as an alumni intern alum, you'll learn the ropes of marketing and get a good grasp on multiple facets of the non-profit marketeering, as well as really expand on your methods of communication. It was a great experience and I encourage all of you to check it out! For more information, check out their site at www.uwalum.org!! It's really fun...soooooo go ChecK It OuT! Hoowah!

Peace everybody,

Mike

Fresh Firsts

Hey everybody! Welcome to my Programming Blog!

This is going to be a way for me to keep in check and update you, the University of Washington, on my progress, current programs, and future brainstorms. It's also an opportunity for you to be able to give me comments and ideas on what I can do to improve campus programming, and for you to give me first hand ideas to strive for in the upcoming year.

I am really stoked to hear what you have to say, so use this blog as a way of holding me true to what I set out to do this year and feel free to leave comments along the way!

Rock on!

Mike Snowden
ASUW Director of Programming
