New Quarter, New Day, New Programs!

Hey everybody!

We have a full quarter of stuff coming up, so in order to get them in, I'll do talk about them in short increments. And away we go!

Drag Show Auditions
The ASUW Gay, Bi-Sexual, Lesbian, Transgender Commission (GBLTC) is hosting their annual Drag Show, and they need YOU to try out! The event is put on every year with acts put on by the UW student body. Strap on your heels, boys; slap on your mustaches, ladies- the Drag Show is coming to town! Thursday, April 30th, from 5pm-8:30pm in HUB 108! Be there and show some hair!

Poly-Day
Come experience the pacific islands through food, song, and dance on your own UW campus! Celebrate the culture of the pacific-April 24th in Red Square, with the fun and festivities beginning around Noon (12pm)

ASUW Elections
This is the time of the year where you get to vote on your student government for next year. ASUW elections take place every Spring quarter with a group of your very own Huskies that are braving the masses to step up and be elected by their peers to lead them through the next academic year. This year be sure to have your voice heard and get your vote out. The candidates can be found on the ASUW Elections website at http://vote.asuw.org/ , under the Voter's Guide tab. Check it out! Be sure to check out the forums to have the opportunity to ask your questions and get a first-hand opinion of the candidates. Those dates can also be found on the elections website under the Calendar tab. The dates for actual voting take place on May 11th, 12th, and up until 11:59pm on May 13th. Get your voice heard and VOTE!

GBLTC DRAG SHOW
The moment you've been waiting for- the performances of the drag auditioners has come! Join us all in HUB 103 and be ready for a night where fun and culture clash! Be ready to rock on May 21st at 7pm in HUB 103!

That's what I have right now, and no worries, I'll have plenty more where this is coming from as the days progress so get your "awesome hat" on and be prepared for more programming at the days count down towards the end of the Spring Quarter!
